Explain ‘personification’ in the poem Mirror in 80 words.

In the poem Mirror by Sylvia Path women has personified her mirror as self. The mirror reflects women's identity and appearance the way it is. It does not hide or tries to cover anything instead it stays everyday in the same place. It reflects the women getting older day by day and reminds her of her dying existence. The women will never be able to get back the little girl she saw once in mirror when she was a child. The mirror is then a living object, her own reflection and reflection of her past, present and future.
