The given series is an ap comment difference=(x-y)-(x+y)=-2y

22 nd term = (x+y)+(22-1)(-2y)=x+y-42y=x-41y

sum of 22 term=0.5 x 22 (first term+22nd term)

=11(x+y+x-41y)

=11(2x-40y)

=22x-440y
