solution : Clearly , a chalk box is in the form of a cuboid .

             Hence , l=16cm b=8cm and  n=6cm

              surface area of a cuboid =2(lb+bh+lh)

                                                      =2(16 imes8+8 imes6+16 imes6)cm^2

                                                      =2(128+48+96)cm^2=544cm^2
