# Find the volume of a right circular cylinder , if the radius (r) of its base and height (h) are 7cm and 15 cm respectively .

Solution:  We know that :

Volume of cylinder $= \pi r^2h$

Here ,      $r=7cm$  and  $h=15cm$

$\therefore$             Volume of the cylinder $=$ $\frac{22}{7}\times (7)^2 \times 15 cm^3$                              [$\because$ $\pi= \frac{22}{7}$  ]

$=22 \times 7 \times 15 cm^3= 2310cm^3$
