Solution:  We have ,

                 Length of wooden block = 6m = 600cm

Breadth of wooden block = 15 cm , Height of wooden block = 40 cm

herefore              Volume of wooden block =  (600	imes 15 imes 40)cm^3

Length of each plank = 2m = 200cm , Breadth of each plank = 2.5 cm ,

Height of each plank = 4cm .

	herefore               volume of each plank =  (200	imes 2.5 imes 4) cm^2

herefore              Number of planks = volume of wooden block / volume of each plank     =frac600	imes 15 imes 40200	imes 2.5	imes 4=180
