Things I can do for the development of rural India and villages

Rural India and villages are the most deprived part of our country. These areas are poor and underdeveloped. A lot needs to be done for the growth and development of this area. We should consider them as areas where possibility of growth and development exists. Both urban and rural areas has it uniqueness. Urban area can learn from rural area and rural area from urban area. There are many facilities which are not available in rural areas such as electricity, roads, transportation. Thus, a lot can be done for the development of rural India and villagers.

Some ideas for development of rural India and village economy area as follows. In rural areas school, aganwadis can be opened. In these aganwadis children of those children can stay who work on fields. These children can get free breakfast and lunch facility in aganwadis. They can stay in aganwadi till afternoon and learn to read, write and speak local language and Hindi. Along with this, they can play and interact with young children like them. In order to ensure that children reach schools and aganwadi bridges and roads can be created. In hilly areas and certain other secluded parts of India, there is no roads. Some places have kachcha road which breaks during the time of natural disaster. In place of these kachcha roads, pucca roads should be made to ensure children can walk on road.

In most places due to the absence of pucca roads, means of transport such as autorickshaw, bus, scooter, bike cannot run on roads. This also affects children reach to schools. Children in school cannot reach the schools on time or they may take leaves. So, roads can be build along with schools. In most rural areas and villages there is no secondary school or senior secondary school. Due to the lack of infrastructure facility and non availability of appropriate land schools cannot be build. Sometimes financial issues are also there. In order to tackle financial issues such as these, committee can be constructed where people with the help of government by contribution or through loans can open schools.

Additionally in villages some small factories can be opened. These small factories can provide employment to village people and can also contribute in reducing the population. This will ensure that both men and women are employed. Also, in case of flood, drought, they have additional employment other than agriculture to survive upon. Mostly, women work in agricultural field without any social support and money. They also need work which can later give them experience and employment. Such occupations could be handicrafts, sewing and printing buisness, pisiculture and bee raising and honey making. Women can work in textile industry. This can give a boost to our traditional crafts and dresses such as saree and suits. They can also be taught to sell their work in market where people can buy them. Through this they will get money and exposure. They can be taught to use appropriate agricultural products and can be taught ways to protect their crops and fields from insects.
