Solution:   We have ,   f(x)=sqrt(16-x)  ,  g(x)=x^4

                  (fog)(x)=f[g(x)]=f(x^4)=sqrt16-x^4

                 (fog)(x)  is well-defined Leftrightarrow(16-x^4)geq 0,

             Rightarrow       (4-x^2)geq 0Rightarrow -2leq xleq 2.
