\begin{bmatrix} x+y &7 \\ 9& x-y \end{bmatrix} = \begin{bmatrix} 2 &7 \\ 9& 4 \end{bmatrix}

x+y = 2....(i)

x - y = 4....(ii)

Equation (i) + Equation (ii)

2x = 6  => x = 3 

y = -1 

x.y = -3
