In a 100 m track event the time taken by four runners is 10, 10.2, 10.4, 10.6 sec. find the ratio of their speeds.

Answers (1)

The distance is the same here. Speed = distance/time

Runner 1: speed = 100/10=10

Runner 2: speed = 100/10.2=9.8

Runner 3: speed = 100/10.4=9.6

Runner 4: speed = 100/10.6=9.4

So the ratio is 9.4:9.6:9.8:10
