In the given circuit, find :
(a) Total resistance of the network of resistors
(b) Current through ammeter A

Total Resistance = ?

R_{1}=4+2=6

R_{2}=3+3=6

\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{R_{1}}+\frac{1}{R_{2}}

\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{6}

R=3\; \Omega

(b) I=\frac{V}{R}=\frac{6}{3}=2A

(c) I_{1}=\frac{V}{R_{1}}=\frac{6}{6}=1A

        I_{2}=\frac{V}{R_{2}}=\frac{6}{6}=1A

    So, P.D across 3\Omega \Rightarrow V_{3}=I_{2}R_{3}

                                          V_{3}=1\times 3

                                           V_{3}=3V

and P.D across 4\Omega \Rightarrow V_{4}=I_{1}R_{4}

                                        V_{4}=1\times 4

                                        V_{4}=4V
