Is parallelogram a rectangle? can you call a rectangle a parallelogram?

Parallelogram has opposite sides equal and parallel. Rectangle also has opposite sides equal and parallel. The difference between the two is that sides of rectangles form 90o while that of parallelogram don't.

So rectangle can be called a parallelogram because they fulfill all the requirement of a parallelogram but parallelogram cannot be called rectangle.
