Present salary of Priya = Rs. 15,000

Percentage increase in salaries of Priya and her friends = 10 % of the overall amount

Hence, 

increase in salary=10 % of Rs 15,000= 10/100 of Rs. 15,000= 10/100 X Rs. 15,000= Rs 1500. 

So, the final salary=initial salary+increase in salary= Rs. 15,000 + Rs. 1500= Rs. 16,500 only.
