Indian Women

When we think of Indian women, we think of a women in a saree. That's the identity of a married Indian women. In association with this idea comes other things such as bangles, vermilion (sindoor) and hair. In contrast to it a modern Indian women,  visualized as wearing jeans, shirt carrying bag and googles. This is the identity of modern working women. Associated with this image is another visual of women in kurta pajama or suit salwaar carrying dupatta with her, hairin  ponytail or open. Thus, the identity of an Indian women has changed drastically and will keep on evolving as the time goes. The change in the identity can be understood through change in clothes, language and behaviour.
