1st case:

Income: 100

Expenditure: 65

Saving: 35

 

2nd case:

Income: 100 + 30% of 100 = 130

Expenditure: 65 + 60% of 65 = 65 + 39 = 104

Savings = 130 - 104 = 26

% Savings = (26 / 130) X 100 = 20%
