The school celebrated the Vanmahotsava Day on August 6, in an effort to create awareness among the students about the importance of the natural greens that beautify our surroundings. The one day event was inaugurated by DM of Lucknow, who also presented 100 saplings to the school. He emphasised their role in conserving the environment for their own sake. A skit depicting the impact of a dry barren landscape was presented by the students. The students plant the saplings in the vicinity of the school. The students were at their creative best making posters and coining slogans to protect the environment. Each one plant one was abjudged the best slogan and the winner was awarded a gold medal by the chief guest.
