solution :  We have ,

                r= Radius of the base of the cylinderical kaleidoscope = 3.5 cm

                h = Height (length )  of kaleidoscope = 25cm

	herefore              Area of the chart paper required  = Curved surface area of the kaleidoscope

                                                                      =     2pi rh=2	imes frac227	imes 3.5 	imes 25 cm^2= 550 cm^2
