The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Tom is a young boy who lives with his aunt Polly close to the river Mississippi. One day he missed school and was given punishment for painting the fence but he managed to fool other children into doing his work by stating its a honourable job.
Tom also falls in love with a girl named Becky Thatcher and flirts with her which she refused. At this time he met Huckleberry Finn in graveyard and they decided to cure warts of dead cat. In the graveyard they witnessed a murder where Joe killed Dr. Robinson. He testified in favour of Muff Potter in court and Joe escaped the courtroom.
Later he got lost in one of the caves with Becky. He met Injun Joe and tried to successfully run from his clutches and alert the town people about it. The town people locked Joe inside the cave and Tom Sawyer was respected for his feat.
