Solution: We know that the volume V of a right circular cone is given by

$V=\frac{1}{3} \times (Area of the base ) \times Height$

Here ,             Area of the base = 314 $cm^2$  and Height =15 cm

$\therefore$                $V=\frac{1}{3}\times 314 \times 15cm^3=1570cm^3$
