According to the question,
x+frac1x=frac507
fracx^2+1x=frac507
7x^2+7=50x
7x^2-50x+7=0
7x^2-49x-x+7=0
7x(x-7)-1(x-7)=0
(7x-1)(x-7)=0
So the number is 7
