Five Principles of Confucious that  are related to our filal dity that is respecting our elders. 

1. Humaneness-  it is also known as benevolence or ren. It is about dealing kindly with people in a humane manner. 

2. Righteousness- it is also known as ri or sometimes as yi. It is being able to understand what is right or wrong at a given moment. 

3. Propriety - it is also known as li. It means performing rituals, rites for binding societies. 

4. Wisdom - wisdom according to him grow from the family. The foundation of society is a disciplined individual in an orderly family. 

5. Trustworthiness - it is also known as xin. It means believing in yourself and others and behaving in ways so that  others can trust you too.
