The most common defects of the Human vision are Myopia and Hypermetropia. 

Myopia is an issue in which the human eye can not see distant objects and can be corrected by a concave lens. 

Hypermetropia is a condition in which the human eye fails to see nearby objects, and can be corrected by a convex lens.
