What happens when adrenaline is released?

Answers (1)

The adrenal gland secretes the adrenaline hormone into the blood and then is carried to various parts of the body. Adrenaline helps our body to react more quickly. It makes the heart beat faster, increases blood flow to the brain as well as muscles, and stimulates the body to make sugar for its use. And when adrenaline is released suddenly, it's often referred to as an adrenaline rush.
