Few/A few /The few -are used for countable noun,Used with plural nouns.

1.Few is a negative quantifier .

Example-Few students have participated in mock test.

2. A few means a small but still positive number of things.

Example- A few children ever come here in the summer.

3.The few describes Not many ,but all there are 

Example- The few friends he had were all very helpful.
