Where to use alpha ,beeta and gama?

Alpha ,beeta and gama are all greek alphabets. Early work in Mathematics and science had done by Greeks like Euclid, Pythagoras, Archiemedes etc.They were all greeks and their contributions forms the basis of mathematics &science. So it's obvious  that maths and science symbols were from greek. 

Symbol; ; ; of ; ; alpha; ; is; ; alpha

Symbol ; ;of ; ;beta; ; is ; ;eta

Symbol ; ;of; ; gama ; ;is; ;gamma

Basically these Greek symbols are used to denote the unknowns in Mathematics.
