Why does the sky look blue, while the space (universe) is black or probably indigo???? and where are the clouds? in the atmosphere or the universe????

The blue colour of the sky is because of the mixture of gases specially oxygen and water vapours and when the sunlight falls on it, it appears Blue. at night, the sky looks black as there is no sunlight.

Clouds are part of the stratosphere which is one of the layers of the atmosphere.
