SUBJECT: Leave application due to the death of my grandfather. 

25th April, 2021

Respected SIr, 

I beg to state that I am student Class 9-B of your school. I will be unable to attend school for the next few days due to the sad demise of my Grandfather who died from a heart attack yesterday. Kindly grant me permission to leave from 25th April to 30th April, both days inclusive so that I can attend his funeral rites and rituals. I shall be grateful if you do the needful.
