Essay on Joys of Meeting an old friend

A friend is a person who is your near dear one. Someone you can rely and depend upon. Someone who help, someone with whom you spend time and attention. It is always a joyful experience when you meet someone who is your friend. You sit together chat, discuss what is going in your personal lives and eat food together with them. A friend in need is a friend indeed. They help you in time of need when you need money, help and support. They are your adviser, counsellor, supporter, critics, motivators and biggest supporters. They are the first person you approach when you are in some problem. 

Last summer, I got an opportunity to meet my school friend in my home during my birthday party. She was my friend from kindergarten. Infact our parents know each other quite well. It was indeed a special day, my friend helped me with my work. We celebrated his day on a grand level. It was my tenth birthday and my friend came to my house early in the morning and helped me and my family to do preparations for my birthday. We celebrated my birthday by buying balloons, cake, chips, cold drinks and gifts for me. My friend also bought a gift for me. We decorated our house with balloons, crafts and decorative piece of items.

We also prepared a list of songs especially for my birthday. Till evening all arrangements were completed. All that was left was calling my friend on my birthday through landline to remind them about the party. On the birthday night, I wore a pink frock dress that has designs on it. My friend wore a white frock dress we were looking like fairies. We clicked lots of pictures. As soon as my other friends arrived, we started the celebration. We blew the candle, cut the cake and enjoyed eating the cake and dancing on songs. We clicked a lot of photos, one photo each with one of my friends. 

Thus, meeting all my friends was a joyful experience for me. The memories we made and the positive feelings we created and shared, they are going to stay with me for a long time.
