We have, 3 × 722 + 2 × 1022 – 55

= 3 × (6 + 1)22 + 2 × (9 + 1)22 – 55

= 18\lambda + 3 + 18\mu + 2 - 55

= 18\delta - 50 = 18\delta - (54 - 4)

= 18\beta + 4

\therefore Remainder = 4
