\mathrm{M g-N=M a} \\

\mathrm{N=M g-M a-\text { (i) }} \\

\mathrm{\text { Given } N=\frac{M g}{4}-\text { (ii) } }\\

\mathrm{M a=M g-\frac{M g}{4}=\frac{3 M g}{4}} \\

\mathrm{a=\frac{3 g}{4}}

Hence correct  option is 3
