A long Straight Metal rod has a very long hole of radius 'a' drilled parallel to the rod axis as shown in fig. If the rod carries a current 'i'. find the value of magnetic induction on the axis of the hole, where, oc=c.

Option: 1

\frac{\mu_0ic}{\pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)}

Option: 2

\frac{\mu_0ic}{2\pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)}

Option: 3

\frac{\mu_0i(b^2-a^2)}{2\pi c}

Option: 4

\frac{\mu_0ic}{2\pi a^2 b^2}

\sigma=\frac{i}{\pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)} \\

\oint \vec{B} d i=\mu_0 i r \\

B(2 \pi c)=\frac{\mu_0 i \pi c^2}{\pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)} \\

B_1=\frac{\mu_0 i c}{2 \pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)} \\

When \sigma taken, B_2=0

\Rightarrow B_{n e t}=B_1=\frac{\mu_0 i c}{2 \pi\left(b^2-a^2\right)}
