For monoatomic gas,

\mathrm{V=\frac{5}{3}}

Since the gas is suddenly compressed it is an adiabatic process

\mathrm{V_{f}=\frac{Vi}{8}}

\mathrm{P_{i}=P\left ( Given \right )}

For adiabatic process

\mathrm{P_i v_i^v =P_f V_f^v }

\mathrm{P_f =P\left(\frac{V_i}{V_f}\right)^v }

\mathrm{=P(8)^{5 / 3} }

\mathrm{P_f =32 P}

Hence (3) is correct option.
