A NCC parade is going at a uniform speed of 9 \mathrm{~km} / \mathrm{h} under a mango tree on which a monkey is sitting at a height of 19.6 \mathrm{~m}. At any particular instant, the monkey drops a mango. A cadet will receive the mango whose distance from the tree at time of drop is : (Given \mathrm{g=9.8 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}^{2}} )

\mathrm{Velocity\: at \: parade =9\: \frac{\mathrm{km}}{\mathrm{hr}}}

                                    \mathrm{=9 \times \frac{5}{18} \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}}

\mathrm{=2.5 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}}

\mathrm{Cadet\: will \: receive\: mango \: at \: a \: distance \: x}

\mathrm{ x=v_x t=2.5 \times 2=5 \mathrm{~m} }

Hence 1 is correct option.
