A pendulum bob has a speed of 3 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s} at its lowest position. The pendulum is 50 \mathrm{~cm} long. The speed of bob, when the length makes an angle of 60^{\circ} to the vertical will be \left(\mathrm{g}=10 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}^{2}\right)_________\mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}.

\Delta TE= 0= \Delta PE+\Delta KE
\left ( \Delta KE \right )_{lost}= \left ( \Delta PE \right )_{gained}
\frac{1}{2}mV^{2}-\frac{1}{2}mV_{1}^{2}= mg\left ( \Delta h \right )
V^{2}-V_{1}^{2}= 2g\left ( \Delta h \right )
\left ( 3 \right )^{2}-V_{1}^{2}= 2\times 10\times \l \left ( 1-\cos 60^{\circ} \right )
                     = 2\times 10\times 0\cdot 5\times \frac{1}{2}
9-V_{1}^{2}= 5
V_{1}^{2}= 4
V_{1}= 2\frac{m}{s}
