:    Range is same for angles of projection \Theta and (90 - \Theta)

\therefore \: \: t_{1}= \frac{2u\sin \Theta }{g}\: and\: t_{2}= \frac{2u\sin \left ( 90-\Theta \right ) }{g}

t_{1}t_{2}= \frac{4u^{2}\sin \Theta \cos \Theta }{g^{2}}= \frac{2}{g}\times \left ( \frac{u^{2}\sin 2\Theta }{g} \right )= \frac{2R}{g}

 

t_{1}t_{2}     is proportional to R
