The radius of the circular orbit is given by

\mathrm{r=\frac{\sqrt{2 m K}}{q B}}

The charge of an \mathrm{\alpha} -particle is twice that of a proton and its mass is four times the mass of a proton. Therefore \mathrm{\sqrt{m} / q} is the same for both. Hence r will the same for both particles. Thus the correct choice is (b).
