Speed of transverse wave=\sqrt{\frac{T}{\mu}}=\sqrt{\frac{400}{m / l}}=\sqrt{\frac{400}{3 / 0.25}}=\sqrt{\frac{400 \times 0.25}{3}}

=5.77m/s

So time taken by disturbance to reach the other end,

=\frac{0.25}{5.77}=0.047s
