\frac{\Delta l_1}{\Delta l_2} =\frac{F_1}{F_2} =\frac{weight }{weight -up thrust}

\frac{2}{1.4}=\frac{V\rho g}{V\rho g-V\rho _w g}

or

\rho =\frac{2}{0.6}\rho _w

=\frac{2}{0.6}\times 1000\Rightarrow \rho =3333 Kg/m^{3}
