R.m.s. Value -

{i}'_{rms}\sin \phi = \frac{{i{}'_{0}}}{\sqrt{2}}\sin \phi

- wherein

 

 rms valueof wattless current = \frac{i_{o}}{\sqrt{2}} sin \phi

 

given \phi = 0

i_{rms} = \frac{i_{o}}{\sqrt{2}} sin 0

irms = 0
