    [\sqrt{I_{1}} - \sqrt{I_{2}}]^{2}

  • Option 2)

    2(I_{1} + I_{2})

I_{max}= I_{1}+ I_{2} + 2\sqrt{I_{1}I_{2}}

I_{min}= I_{1}+ I_{2} - 2\sqrt{I_{1}I_{2}}

sum of maximu and minimum intensities = 2\left ( I_{1}+ I_{2}\right )

Ratio of maximum and minimum intensity -

\frac{I_{max}}{I_{min}}=\left ( \frac{\sqrt{I_{1}}+\sqrt{I_{2}}}{\sqrt{I_{1}}-\sqrt{I_{2}}} \right )^{2}

-

Option 1)

[\sqrt{I_{1}} - \sqrt{I_{2}}]^{2}

This is incorrect

Option 2)

2(I_{1} + I_{2})

This is correct

Option 3)

I_{1} + I_{2}

This is incorrect

Option 4)

[\sqrt{I_{1}} + \sqrt{I_{2}}]^{2}

This is incorrect
