Horizontal Range -

Horizontal distance travelled by projectile from the point of projectile to the point on ground where its hits.

R=\frac{u^{2}\sin 2\Theta }{g}

- wherein

Special case of horizontal range

For max horizontal range.

\Theta = 45^{0}

R_{max}=\frac{u^{2}\sin 2 (45) }{g}=\frac{u^{2}\times 1}{g}=\frac{u^{2}}{g}

Range=R=\frac{U^{2}sin2\Theta }{9}

R\prec U^{2}

and\: \: A\approx \Pi R^{2}

\Rightarrow A\prec R^{2}

\Rightarrow A\prec U^{4}

\Rightarrow \frac{A_{1}}{A_{2}}=\frac{U_{1}^{4}}{U_{2}^{4}}=\left [ \frac{U_{1}}{Y_{2}} \right ]^{4}=\left [ \frac{1}{2} \right ]^{4}=\frac{1}{16}
