For a reaction, \mathrm{2 A+B \rightarrow C+D}
Rate of reaction \mathrm{=K[A]^2[B]^0} 
If volume is halved, concentration of reactants will double.
So revised rate of reaction \mathrm{ =K[2 A]^2[2 B]^0=2^2 \times K[A]^2[B]^0}
