         moles of  \mathrm{\mathrm{H}_2=\frac{x}{2}}
         moles of  \mathrm{\mathrm{CH}_4=\frac{x}{16}}
\mathrm{\therefore ~Mole ~fraction ~of \mathrm{~H}_2=\frac{x / 2}{x / 2+x / 16}=\frac{8}{9} }

\mathrm{\Rightarrow \frac{\text { Partial pressure of } \mathrm{H}_2}{\text { total pressure }}=\text { mole fraction of } \mathrm{H}_2=\frac{8}{9} }
