Drop a perpendicular on y = x from A. clearly BAA’’ and BA’A’’ will be congruent 

⇒  AA’’ = A’A’’. Hence image of (2,6,) w. r. t.  y = x will give A’ which is (6,2).

Hence (B) is the correct answer.
