As we keep on increasing the value of F, the value of friction force between blocks will also increase so as to stop relative motion between the blocks. for maximum value of F, the friction force will also be maximum (Limiting friction).

let the common acceleration of blocks be ac, and limiting friction between the blocks be fl.

F.B.D of both blocks combined-

\mathrm{F=15a_{c} \ ...(1)}

F.B.D of 5 kg block-

\\ \mathrm{N=50}\\ \mathrm{ f_{l}=\mu N=0.2\times50=10N}\\ \mathrm{F-f_{l}=5a_{c}}\\ \mathrm{F=10+5a_{c} \ ...(2)}\\

From euation (1) and (2)-

\\ \mathrm{F=15N}
