Given,
[7(p-q)] \div 2=14$ and $p, q \geq 0
Generalized formula to find the number of solutions of equations is
a_1+a_2+\ldots . .+a_r=(n+r-1) c_{r-1} Let, p=2 p, q=-2 q$ Then, $2 p+2 q=4
So the equation becomes
p + q = 2
Hence from above equation, n = 2 and r = 2
Hence the total number of solutions =(2+2-1) c_{2-1}=3 c_1=3
