For a given reaction:
\mathrm{a X+b Y+c Z \rightarrow} Products
If,
Rate \mathrm{\propto[X]^p[Y]^q[Z]^r}
Overall order of the reaction is :
\mathrm{(p+q+r)}
So, for:
\mathrm{A+B \rightarrow C}
Overall order is given to be 3

\mathrm{ 3=2.5+q \\ }

\mathrm{ \Rightarrow q=3-2.5=0.5 }\mathrm{ \therefore 100 q=50 }.
