\mathrm{I =2\left(\frac{M R^2}{4}\right)+2\left(\frac{5 M R^2}{4}\right) }

\mathrm{=\frac{12 M R^2}{4} }

\mathrm{\text { But } R=a / 2 }

\mathrm{\therefore I=\frac{3 M a^2}{4}}

\mathrm{The \: value \: of\: x \: is\: 3}
