  • Option 1)

    S2=3S1

  • Option 2)

    S2=4S1

As learnt in

2nd equation or Position- time equation -

s= ut +frac{1}{2}at^{2}

s
ightarrow Displacement

u
ightarrowInitial velocity

a
ightarrowacceleration

t
ightarrow time

-

 u = 0    t1 = 10 sec    t2 = 20 sec

s = ut +\frac{1}{2}at^{2}

s_{1} = \frac{1}{2}a{t_{1}}^{2}

s_{2} = \frac{1}{2}a{t_{2}}^{2}

\therefore \frac{s_{1}}{s_{2}} =\left ( \frac{t_{1}}{t_{2}} \right )^{2} = \left ( \frac{10}{20} \right )^{2} = \frac{1}{4}

\Rightarrow s_{2} = 4s_{1}

Option 1)

S2=3S1

This option is incorrect

Option 2)

S2=4S1

This option is correct

Option 3)

S2=S1

This option is incorrect

Option 4)

S2=2S1

This option is incorrect
