As we have learned

Maximum order of interference maxima -

n_{max}= {\left [ \frac{d}{\lambda} \right ]}

- wherein

Where  \left [\, \, \, \right ] represent the greatest integer

 HIghest order of maxima

 n = [\frac{d}{\lambda }]= [ \frac{r \cdot 1\lambda }{\lambda }]= 6

Total maxima with in diffreaction central fringe is 12
