As we have learnt,

 

Reciprocal Trigonometric Ratios -

cosec\ \Theta = \frac{1}{\sin \Theta }

\sec \Theta = \frac{1}{\cos \Theta }

\cot \Theta = \frac{1}{\tan \Theta }

 since

 \cos\theta = p; \sec\theta = \frac{1}{p} \;\&\; \tan\theta = \frac{\sqrt{1- p^2}}{p} \\* \Rightarrow \tan\theta + \sec\theta = \frac{\sqrt{1-p^2} + 1}{p}
